If you don’t want to sit in-front of your server to perform the installation and would like to continue the installation from your desk. Follow the steps:
Boot your server with CentOS 6.5 installation disk. You will get the following screen during boot.

From above screen choose Install or upgrade an existing system option from the installation wizard and press TAB key. Now you will see the following screen. Type the following command as shown in the below screen:

Give ip address which you want to give to server and then netmask so, that from client machine you are able to connect server through telnet.
linux text telnet ip=192.168.0.130 netmask=255.255.255.0

Or we can do this as well:
You can Press ESC key while on the Install or upgrade an existing system option from the installation wizard and type the following command in the boot prompt as shown in the below picture and press enter:
linux text telnet ip=192.168.0.130 netmask=255.255.255.0

after pressing enter, Once you get the below screen saying waiting for telnet connection:

Go to the client machine and access putty and enter ip address 192.168.0.130 of the server and select option telnet in place of ssh and click on open terminal and you will notice the below terminal window.
Next, click on Skip the media test.

Next, window comes which ask you to start VNC for graphical installation or use text mode. You can choose any one of them for installation.

Suppose I selected start VNC:
It ask you to set password to be required during connecting the server from VNC client from client machine to continue with graphical installation.
Set the password and click on ok .

Window comes which states:
Running anaconda 13.21.215, the CentOS system installer – please wait.
15:55:31 Starting VNC…
15:55:32 The VNC server is now running.
15:55:32
You chose to execute vnc with a password.
15:55:32 Please manually connect your vnc client to 192.168.0.130:1 to begin the install.
15:55:32 Starting graphical installation.
Open the VNC client and put the address as follows:

Click on connect.
Click on continue.
Put the password which you set above and you will notice the graphical screen will open at the client machine and now you can continue with your installation in graphical mode.
